What you can do here
Conway's Game of Life evolves a grid of cells: each generation, cells survive, die, or are born based on their neighbors. The simulation runs directly in your browser.
- Draw or erase cells freehand, pick a brush size and drawing color, or stamp squares, rectangles, circles, and stars as filled or outline shapes.
- Start, pause, step one generation at a time, reset the board, and set the simulation speed while the generation and live-cell readouts update.
- Resize the board, choose finite or wraparound edges, and adjust fade duration, fade gradient, and global fade multiplier controls.
